Monthly Update - November 2013 Tube Surgery

This month Addie had new tubes put in her ears and Cooper had tubes put in for the first time.  We had both surgeries done at the same time.  They both did really well considering it IS surgery.  Mommy and daddy were quite nervous about having them sedated, but luckily they were in good hands.

All about Addie

Late Halloween Party - Addie's preschool Halloween party was on November 1st this year.  Addie dressed up like a lion.  Nana came to help with the "trunk-or-treat" in the preschool parking lot.  The party was a lot of fun despite a brief overheating by our little lion.  Addie's teacher said that despite the heat, Addie wanted to keep her costume on all day long and at one point became a bit overheated!! YIKES!!  Luckily, she was okay by the time the party started.

Little Dentist - Addie has a playdough set that she LOVES to play with.  She tells us all of the time that she will be a dentist like her daddy one day.  :)

Little genious - Mommy walked outside one day to see that "Addison" had been written very neatly with chalk on the sidewalk.  I asked Shane if he had written it and he said "no".  When she heard me ask Shane, she butted in and said "I wrote my name, mommy".  I was shocked at how neat it looked!! (see picture)

All about Cooper

Feeding Chickens -  Cooper LOVES, LOVES, LOVES to feed the chickens.  He would sit outside for hours if we let him and throw feed to the animals.  He laughs at them when they are startled.

Walking tall-  I love to see Cooper's legs moving.  He is so fast on those little things now and even when he falls, he gets right back up.

Head butting - I think we've posted about this before, but Cooper LOVES to head-but people.  He did it before when he was crawling and now he does it when he's walking.  He will walk or RUN right into us like he's trying to knock us over.  Future football player?  or bowling ball?  :)

All about baby #3

Growing like crazy - My belly is getting bigger, obviously.  I'm not really uncomfortable yet and actually enjoying my size.

Movement - Watching her move in my belly is the sweetest.  I love it especially when the kids can experience it too.  Addie talks to her and touches my belly.  Cooper just "pets" my belly, not really understanding why :)
