All about Addie
What does that word start with - Since starting preschool, Addie has had a much bigger interest in words and letters. Her newest question is "what does that word start with". Typically, she already knows the answer and she's just seeing if we know. So we will say "I don't know, what DOES it start with" and she will tell us.
Potty training at night - Potty training went really well for us during the day right off the bat but Addie had the hardest time picking it up at night. Her doctor said that there's a good chance that she's just not waking up when it's time to pee. In the last month, we've made some huge progress. We've since cut back on snacks and drinks too close to bed. We still let her have her water cup in her room, but she doesn't typically drink too much of it. She has not had any nighttime accidents.
All about Cooper
Books - Cooper has started showing more of an interest in books lately. He sits quietly when we read to him and especially seems to like when we do books before bed. He will point to pictures and try to tell us what they are and if he doesn't know we are looking, he will "read" to himself (babbling).
"CHEESE" - Cooper loves his picture taken, as long as it's not "staged". He will say "teeese" and smile as big as he can. He especially seems to like it if we put our camera screen on mirror so that he can see himself saying cheese in the screen.
All about baby #3
Worn out - I don't know if it's from the chaos of the holidays or the pregnancy... maybe a bit of both, but I became especially exhausted the last two weeks of December. I've been pretty lucky though because Shane does just about anything I ask in the evenings when I'm "done" for the night and relaxing. He will make me a snack, put in a movie, tend to the kids, etc. I'm pretty lucky to have such a great guy!!
