All about Addie

First day of Preschool - 8/18 Addie had started school about a week early but the actual school program started on 8/18. She was very excited about going but seemed a little timid once she got there. After about a week, she was still a bit timid and seemed to cling to the teachers. All of her teachers said she's super smart though and catches on very quickly.

Exhausted - Although she takes naps sometimes at school, Addison is EXHAUSTED by the afternoon/end of the day. I think she plays so hard at preschool, especially in the hot sun on the playground and it takes a lot out of her.

Little sickie - We've had a rough time with Addie's belly for quite some time now. She will wake up in the middle of the night or first thing in the morning and need to throw up. Typically, it's just bile and almost always she will need to poop at the same time. Her pediatritian has come to the conclusion that Addie is not "emptying" her bowls which is causing a buildup in her intestines. The buildup is then pushing on her stomach. Her diet includes plenty of fiber, so my conclusion is that she is just "too busy" to poop. Basically, there's not a ton we can do until she "grows out of it".

All about Cooper

Potty training - Cooper hasn't pooped in his diaper in over a month now. He's very quick to tell us when he needs to go and in fact will get really whiny if we don't hurry up to get him there!!

Loving Aribelle - Any time she is on the floor, Cooper wants to be there too. Sometimes he lays next to her, sometimes he tries to crawl over her. He will lay toys next to her, or roll things past her to get her attention. Although we are still needing to watch him, he really does love her and loves to play with her.

All about Aribelle

Solids - Aribelle tried sweet potatoes for the first time this month. She seemed interested at first but then decided she was done. The next time we tried them she was a little more interested and even more after that.

First bath in BIG bath with brother & Sis - Addie and Cooper have asked several times if Aribelle can take a bath with them but she really wasn't sitting up well enough on her own and I didn't trust it. Now that she's sitting up better, I knew it was a good time to try. She LOVED it!!

Reaching - She has started reaching for EVERYTHING. Wether it's a toy, mama's food, if someone is holding her and has a drink, she reaches for it. If we're holding her and bringing a bite to our mouth, she will open her mouth waiting for us to give it to her. Although it's pretty funny, we feel bad because most of what we're eating she can't have yet (meats, etc).
