Weekly Update - Mothers Day

53 Week Picture

I'm catching up on posting several weeks all in one day!  Of course after her first birthday, summer was in full bloom so things became very hectic around our household.  I finally have a chance to sit down and post a few things.  On my phone I have a "notepad" that I can keep track of things she's doing so it's really helpful in remembering all of her milestones when I can get right on the blog.
Her 52 week and 53 week are posted separately but a lot of the milestones that we listed on each happened pretty close together but here goes....

Milestones: Week of May 13th 2011

Crawling on knees:  I think she technically started this right before her birthday (at uncle Dillon's house) but now this is the ONLY way she crawls!  I thought she crawled fast on her belly but now she's a little speed racer.  When we are hanging out downstairs in the living room, she will sometimes manage to get the baby gate door open.  Once she's through it, she will BOOK IT all the way down the hall and into the toy room.  If Daddy or I try to go after her, we find ourselves really trying to keep up with her because she's so quick!!

Mothers Day:  Mothers day fell on the day after Addie's birthday.  Addie (and Daddy) bought mommy a bouquet of flowers and LOTS of snuggle time :) It was perfect!

Stuck Standing:  Addie pulls herself up to EVERYTHING now.  The problem is, she can't get back down to sitting position once she's up!  She will stand at her activity table and cry or scream until mommy or daddy help her sit back down.  I've tried to let her do it on her own but she becomes really pathetic with tears streaming down her face :..(
