Merry Christmas

This Christmas was very low key, especially with mommy and Addie being under the weather.  The great thing though was that we spent lots of time just the three of us since daddy took a few days off of work.
The start to the holiday was on Thursday when we opened most of our gifts.  One gift that Addie seemed to like the most was a "ball shooter" (picture below).  We didn't have a recorder handy at the time, but Addie was all cracked up watching the balls shoot out of the top of the tube.  She loved it.  Another gift she seemed to really like was a vibrating/bouncing cow ball.  She loves to hold it in her hands and hugs it against her chest.

On Christmas Eve we hung out at home with Uncle Dillon, Aunt Joy and cousins Blake and Avryl.  We had lots of finger foods and watched the movie Elf while opening gifts.  Addie loved her Learning Tad and baby doll that Uncle Dillon, Aunt Joy, Blake and Avryl got her.
The weather was unfavorable for travel so unfortunately the night ended early in order for Uncle Dillon (and family) to get home safely. For the remainder of the night, we snuggled and watched movies.

Christmas Day, we decided to sleep in.  The rest of the day was relaxing and it was exciting to watch Addie play with all of her new toys.  Addison seems to be in a whole new world with so many new things to play with.  Before, we only had a few small rattles, etc.  Now she's got lights, sounds, colors, and fun, fun fun!!
