34 Week Update - Happy New Year!

We're posting this a few days late because mommy got food poisoning some time Wednesday and was very sick Thursday night and Friday.  Luckily, it couldn't be transfered through breast milk to Addie so we didn't have a sick baby!  So.... for our New Years celebration, we spent the evening on the couch watching movies and playing with toys.

Milestones:

Solids:  FINALLY!  Addie has eaten baby food solids over the last week with no issues.  She opens her mouth for each bite, doesn't spit any out, and no rashes/reactions to the food.  Each week we are going to try a new baby food and get her slowly used to each kind.

Hair:  Addie's hair has filled out so much in the last few weeks.  For the first time, you can't see her scalp!  Her hair has also gotten darker brown.  Who knows, maybe the length of the hair on her head will catch up with the length of the hair on her eyelashes!!

Holding Bottle:  Addie has held her bottle for a while now but that's about it.  She's never really gotten the hang of bringing the bottle to her mouth.  Within the last week, she has mastered the art of feeding herself though.  Sometimes she just likes to play with it, but when she's really hungry she does great!
