Weekly Update - BIG NEWS!!

Addie's Weekly Photo

We waited a bit to announce our big news because we wanted to have our first doctor's appointment to confirm....ADDIE IS GOING TO BE A BIG SISTER! :)
Around the last week of June, I started feeling "different".  I wasn't exactly sure what was going on, but I was a bit more tired than usual and was having abdominal twinges (something I only experienced while pregnant with Addison).  I had plans to take a road trip to Illinois on Tuesday the 5th of July.  I thought maybe I was being paranoid, but new there was a possibility of pregnancy so I took a test right before taking off.  Sure enough, two pink lines showed up!  I went into the bedroom while Shane was still sleeping, tapped him gently and held the pee stick within eyesight.  His response was "really?"  I smiled and nodded back.  Shane smiled really big and leaned in for a hug & kiss.
So far, the pregnancy has been a bit different than the first.  I'm much more nauseous this time around and don't crave anything yet.
I will do my best to keep updates on this pregnancy like I did with Addie.  Not sure if I will take belly pics or not though :)  Our first sonogram is with Weekly pics (below).

Addie's Milestones the week of August 5, 2011 (65 Weeks):

Walking:  It seems like every day, Addison shows more of an interest in walking.  When she stands without assistance, she will clap at herself and smile really big.  Addie will let us hold her hands and walk now but the moment we let go of her hands, she will intentionally drop down to her butt!  I'm sure walking is just around the corner.

Singing:  When cartoons and familiar kids shows are on, Addie will now try singing along with them!  It's super cute because she will wiggle/dance while singing and really gets into it!  On Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and Jake and the Neverland Pirates, she actually seems to know sections of each song.

Climbing:  Addison loves to climb!  She can now climb up onto and off the couch.  Her other favorites are climbing on the treadmill, climbing on various toys, and other furniture pieces.

The NEXT future Baby Handley

Hard to see, but if you look at the little one in the circle,
the yolk sac is on the right, the head is at the top,
and arm/leg buds are out in front.  CUTE! :)

We didn't get a ton of pics with Addie this week, but
she cracked me up with the dog's cage one day.
I was in and out of the laundry room and when I
came back, she had crawled into the cage!

Of course the dog didn't want to be left out :)

 She kicked the dog out!

Pekaboo!!

And he's back!
